The club once again responded to a stress call from the Los Barrios dog pound due to the floods of this days. They needed our vehicles to move some dogs out to another dog pound and to take 3 dogs to foster homes, hope they keep them.

Thanks to those members who were able to attend this call in minutes and to Dave from AINF for counting with us to help out.

FLOODING - LOS BARRIOS POUND EVACUATION 2021
After some serious rainfall over the last few days, the Los Barrios pound had to be evacuated as the dogs were at serious risk of drowning. Over the last 2 days, we have been working with SOS Perrera de Los Barrios who have been absolutely amazing. Their selfless dedication to get the dogs out has saved countless lives. We have taken in 18 dogs and these dogs will stay with us until they are adopted. They have been taken to a mix of private kennels and foster homes and will hopefully find their forever homes soon. We also want to give a massive thank you to MarocAtlasGib4x4 Club who braved the flooded roads and safely delivered dogs to their foster homes. We couldn't have reached these dogs without their help.
Lastly, thank you to every single person who has been in touch to offer their home to a desperate dog in need. These dogs would have drowned today had you not opened up your homes to save their lives.
If you would like to foster or adopt one of the lovely dogs we have saved, please get in touch.

PLEASE HELP US RAISE FUNDS TO HELP THE 19 LOS BARRIOS EVACUATION DOGS UNDER OUR CARE
The last three days of heavy rainfall has flooded the Los Barrios dog pound and a mass evacuation has been required. When SOS Perrera Los Barrios asked for help, we found as many kennel spaces and foster homes as we could and managed to save 19 dogs. All of the dogs we helped to save are now under our care and will remain in their placements until they are adopted. They will be distraught if they end up back at the pound after experiencing love and a warm bed.
We therefore need to raise this money to pay the private kennel fees for those who have been placed there. We also need to pay for blood tests for all the dogs to ensure they are healthy and receive treatment for any diseases they may have before going to a home. They also need castration, chip, passport, and nails and teeth clean each if they haven't already had this done. We worked hard today to get all these dogs to safety but now we need your help to see it through. Please help by donating anything you can.
