In Aid of Jay!
Today I was lucky enough to meet up with this little man (Jay) and his parents.
Jay is a 7yr old handsome boy diagnosed with Autism and is fully dependent on his parents on a 24hr basis. Due to this,
dad has given up employment to become Jay's full time carer.
Jay struggles to understand how to communicate verbally and is presently at a stage of repeating very simple words with the help of visual cards.
Jay is fascinated by water and lights and there is a specific equipment that has been proven to help him when he is experiencing a bad stage of tantrums.
Several modifications have been made to the family home to cater for Jay's specific needs. The family are looking to create a Sensory Room which combines a range of stimuli to help Jay develop and engage his senses. These can include lights, colours, sounds, sensory soft play objects, all within a safe environment that will allow Jay to explore and interact without risk and that will build up his confidence and ability.
Zed on Wheels along with MarocAtlas will be collaborating with Jay's family to help raise money and contribute towards a much needed Sensory Room. Grateful if you could spare a few pounds for this worthy cause. All donations towards Jay is greatly appreciated.

Wednesday the 17th of Jan we will be having our first meeting as from 7 pm at the Club for those interested in attending to this years solidarity challenge and support this unique cause!

After our Solidarity raid in April we met with Jay's father and handed him the funds raised through the just giving link of £1060.00 which will be used for his project thanks to our communities support!
We are dedicated to Leisure & Sports and collaborating locally & abroad in charitable works & Solidarity Projects on our annual Raids.
