This blog is for the people who does not know of Gibraltar and its people, so if you have any footage you will like to show the world you can post it here.
Let us not forget the true spirit of the Gibraltarians! This is what us the Gibraltarian people stand for - courtesy of Mr Solomon Momy Levy This is what makes me proud to be a Gibraltarian - to be able to live in peace and harmony with people of all religions and nationalities! True democracy!
2014 will be seeing many changes at Radio Gibraltar.
As from 20th January the station will be offering a service in both English and Spanish during the afternoon, giving listeners a choice of programmes.
Paul Grant will host a new 4 hour show from 2 – 6pm (on 91.3 and 92.6FM, online, Freeview, and on DAB+) and Teresa Goncalvez, assisted by Nicky Ryan and Christian Santos, will continue the station’s decades-long tradition of providing a service in Spanish between 2 and 4pm on the newly branded ‘Radio Gibraltar Plus’ (100.5FM, 1458AM, online and on DAB+).
So a new year with innovations for Radio Gibraltar and the changes have coincided with the introduction of a new slogan too; 'Radio Gibraltar: Loving Life on the Rock'.
In addition to the extra frequencies there will also be a new evening round-up programme hosted by newcomer Clare Hernandez, every weekday from 6 to 7pm, and on Thursday evenings from 7 to 9, Michele Rugeroni and Andy Coumbe will join forces to present a brand new request show.
So lots to look forward to when it comes to Radio Gibraltar, with all changes active as from the 20th January.

As the human race is plunged into an unprecedented state of alert in the shape of COVID-19, the Gibraltarian community stands firm in the fight to control this virus and sends a ray of hope to the entire world. This effort named NEED U NEED US, was conceived to recover funds for the poorer section of our globe. It is now launched once again, only this time, the message has an added value. Let us all stand united in the fight to erradicate this pandemic and still assist the needy, because we are ALL in this together.
Weather: A colder day, enhanced by cloudy skies, a brisk#Levantewind, but particularly the showers - as MeteoGib forecast, the#hailarrived with some fab photos from the Upper Rock, thanks to the staff at Cable Car Gibraltar - our coldest day since 10 Jan 2021.
48 hours in #Gibraltar with Simon Calder and the The Independent Lands, seas and cultures converge to spectacular effect in this multi-dimensional place in the sun, at the gateway to the Mediterranean.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. Thank-you for your service to the people of Gibraltar. I only have great words for this man may He Rest In Peace.
A big thanks to the Gibraltar Sea Scouts Pipe Band for their involvement in the events organised in Tangier over the last two weeks. Their performances have been a highlight, drawing in the crowds and adding plenty of fun and colour to the celebrations.
Two Chief Ministers to inaugurate the airport tunnel - the former one who started the works, and the current one who finished them 15 years later!
Both Fabian Picardo and Sir Peter Caruana cut the ribbon, after they arrived in their respective G1s.
Mr Picardo announced the airport tunnel and connecting road will be known as 'Kingsway' (Kingsway Tunnel and Kingsway Road), officially approved by King Charles.
A street art project is underway to beautify the barriers in Main Street and around Gibraltar. These murals will bring our history and cultural identity to life, and are a testament to how the power of creativity can transform our shared spaces. The first incredible paintings are by local artist Kyrane Lia.
