After a great lunch with our friends the team continues another 61 km to reach Tissagdelt, a commune village in the region of Irrachidia.
There they visited our friend Adil at the association, he had a programme done for the group to enjoy their hospitality and culture.
First the team was led through the forest and feilds, there the team saw how the water is distributed for the farmers and how they are self eficient. Then Adil took them to the old Medina Kasbah, his ancestors village. he told us stories he had been told by his grandparents.
They later walked through the village and met some locals, the kids had a ride on a donkey.
Adil invited everyone to his house where mint tea and sweetcakes was waiting for them.
After a great snack Adil led the team back to the association, there the men were put in a room and the women in another.
The men were given Kaftans to wear and wait to be called, they all picked their choice and dressed up. After a waiting time, the men were taken out and made them stand in a file in the corridor, suddenly the other door opened and the women came out in a file all dressed up and their hands painted with Hena, the children and teachers started singing and we all entered the main room, there all the children were waiting for us with big smiles.
Folklore music started to play and ythey made us all dance away, they all had a blast of a time integrating with the children.
The team then unloaded all the donations we had brought to the association and distributed it to the children.
After the festive afternoon Adil invites the team for dinner at his house, we would like to thank him and his family for their hospitality.
After a great meal the team sets off to Takojt, to our friend Mobarek completing the step 3 of stage 3.
