The Spanish government has confirmed extra funding will be available for those affected by the storms, with the Cadiz province declared an area affected by by emergency.

Storm Leonardo and Storm Marta have wrecked havoc in the region, with 11,000 people in Cordoba, Malaga and Cadiz evacuated as a result.

This comes on the back of numerous other storms over the last three months, with 76 incidents reported.

Many have faced severe damage to their homes. MarocAtlas Gibraltar volunteers have been quick to respond to efforts in San Martin de Tesorillo. Using their four by four vehicles to, at times, assist emergency services in the area, as well as provide generators and furniture.
