Secadero Floods Response.

Our team are on their way to the flooding area!

Today we have three vehicles once again going over to the Secadero.

They are delivering some PPE, overalls, gloves and more to help for the cleaning.

They have first visited the association in Soto Grande to coordinate to work together tomorrow.

They arrived to a military control that were only allowing volunteers vehicles to cross to Secadero.

They are allowed to pass and met with our friends in Secadero.

Our team attends the meeting with the authorities in the mayors offices and are briefed of what will be needed to be done.

After the meeting the team together with authority vehicles go to the location to start evacuating everyone at 16:30 hrs.

Demis and Greg deliver diesel to the generation station to provide power supply to the town.

Third day at San Martin del Tesorillo;

Today our volunteers collected provisions donated at the Racket Centre in Soto Grande which they delivered to the Ayuntamiento of el Tesorillo as planned.

The volunteers meet up with our dear friend Paco and his girl friend and helped out in clearing the furniture from one of the houses that had had over one and a half meter of water inside.

Today we were called from the Ayuntamiento of Tesorrillo as the UME, (Unidad Military de Emergencies) where looking for us in town because once again they needed us to rescue their truck once again, but eventually they managed to get it out of the ditch.
